Fascinating stuff as always, Zeus! Have you ever heard of the book “God the Child” by Graham Adams? It delves into the idea that god IS a child, and that play is the way to subvert all the “big bad” stuff out there.
A well reasoned and well stated synopsis of how the egoic mind and false self have become embedded in nearly all adults thanks to a lifetime of brainwashing telling us that we are our bodies and that we must constantly struggle with health and for our very survival against "others" who are really aspects of the same greater Self.
Emilie, No I have not heard of Adams’s “God the Child”. I will check it out. This would make sense. If God wants us to be like God/love and in God’s image and likeness, wouldn’t it make sense that God would be as a the child Jesus and others say we should become. The Buddhists call it “beginners mind”. Yes! Creativity, love, and play are the language of both God and Child.

Jayeson, brilliantly summarized. Yes, yes, and yes. The Deception is exactly as you have laid out: Get us to accept the primacy (and fear) of the honorable but denser physical realm and then hook us on their “solutions” which do not answer the question of death. Spirit has the answer: Life eternal. I don’t know about you :0)… but that strikes me as a more fulfilling and worthy purpose than an island vacation. But what do I know. I just adore the spirit!
